SharVault

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 22, 2026

Overview

SharVault is a private, invite-only app for organising tasks, goals, notes, boards, calendar events and personal finances. Accounts are created by the app administrator; there is no public sign-up. This policy explains what data SharVault stores, why, and how you can have it deleted. It applies to the website at sharvault.vercel.app and the SharVault Android app, which displays the same website.

Data we store

  • Account details: your email address, your name (if provided), your password (stored only as a one-way hash, never in readable form) and, if you enable two-factor authentication, its secret key.
  • Content you create: tasks, goals, work streams, notes and their version history, boards, calendar events, and finance records such as transactions, amounts, categories and income sources.
  • Security information: for each signed-in session, the device/browser description (user agent), IP address and last-active time, plus a log of security events such as sign-ins and password changes. This lets you see and sign out your active devices, and helps protect your account.

How we use it

Your data is used only to provide the app to you: showing your content, keeping you signed in, securing your account, and sending account emails (such as password resets and reminders you have turned on).

SharVault has no advertising, no analytics or tracking tools, and does not sell, rent or share your data with anyone for marketing. The only cookie used is the one that keeps you signed in.

Where it is stored and who processes it

Your data is handled by these service providers, only to run the app:

  • Vercel: hosts the website and runs the app.
  • Supabase: hosts the database, on Amazon Web Services servers in Sydney, Australia.
  • Email provider: delivers account emails to your address.
  • Google Play: distributes the Android app. Google handles app downloads under its own privacy policy.

All data is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections. The app may keep a cached copy of pages on your device so it can load while offline.

How long we keep it

Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. Items you delete in the app are removed or marked as deleted, and are erased when your account is deleted.

Deleting your account and data

To delete your account and all associated data, email shardulanaspure1603@gmail.com from the email address on your account, with the subject “SharVault account deletion”. Your account, content, sessions and security logs will be permanently deleted within 30 days, and you will receive a confirmation by email.

You can also ask for a copy of your data, or for it to be corrected, at the same address.

Children

SharVault is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
